He was further promoted to co-head writer in January 2006. His co-head writers included Andrew Steele and Tina Fey. But when Fey left the show, Seth Meyers was fortunate enough to be promoted to head writer for the show's 2006-2007 season.

Moreover, he gets to impersonate several notable people, including Wade Robson, Ty Pennington, Ben Curtis, Tobey Maguire, Stone Phillips, Sean Penn, Ryan Seacrest, Prince Charles, Carrot Top, Anderson Cooper, Michael Caine, and John Kerry.

His achievements also include becoming a co-anchor in the 2006-2007 season of the television program "Weekend Update." He co-hosts such show with television personality Amy Poehler.

On a personal note, Seth Meyers used to spend his time with actress Rashida Jones when he had time out of acting. Now, when he is not busy with work, he participates in a good game of poker.

This celebrity poker player is definitely not just an ordinary poker player. Prior to his participation in the television game show "Celebrity Poker Showdown" in 2004, he had already been playing poker and had been participating in various poker events. The frequent participation of this celebrity poker player in poker events probably honed his skills as he won in the 5th game of the third tournament of "Celebrity Poker Showdown."
